Location and Facilities

Long Beach Flying Club is located at Long Beach
Airport, in Los Angeles county, in southern
California. We are about 18 miles south of Los
Angeles International Airport, where you will
probably arrive if flying in by commercial airline.
Located just 5 miles from the beach, the
average daily temperature for Long Beach is 75
F. degrees (24 C.) in the summer and 62 F.

very accustomed to working with student pilots.
Learning how to fly here and in the surrounding
area will develop your radio skills and instill a
confidence which will help you deal with any air
